PT Permata Energy Resources Jobs Vacancy

PT Permata Energy Resources is a coal exploration and production group based in Indonesia (Sumatra and Kalimantan). The group has grown substantially and has been the largest privately owned coal mining company in Sumatera area.

Currently, we are looking for young, energetic and dynamic professional candidates to join our team as position below:

Senior Geologist (SRG)

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct to identify sampling methods, field operations, interpretation and correlation of seams, and reporting
  • Prepare and identify surface and sub-surface maps, stratigraphic arrangement and composition of the potential of the coal
  • Conduct exploration programs and research to extend the knowledge of the structure, composition and processes of earth sciences generally, and to locate and identify mineral and coal resources
  • Planning and developing areas of exploration program by using aerial photographs, field maps, or data from geophysical and geochemical surveys and satellite images
  • Developing and new ways of discovering resources and checks that materials and conditions are conforming to predictions, and also investigate any changes
  • Conducts analysis of geological, geochemical and geophysical survey data and other test results
  • Develops applied software for the analysis and interpretation of data
  • Participates in the analysis of core samples, drill cuttings and rock samples
  • Collect, examine and analyze environmental and geologic data from mining operations or proposed sites to determine appropriate mitigation measures to apply to the authorizations in order to mitigate environmental risks
Requirements:
  • Male, max. 35 years old
  • Bachelor degree from reputable university in Geology / Mining Engineer
  • Minimum of 5 years working experience in the same position especially in Coal
  • Exposure to Map Info, Map Source, AutoCAD, GPS, and Mining software like Surpac and Minscape would be an added advantage
  • A knowledge of the Global Information System (GIS) and Global Positioning System (GPS)-a locator system that uses satellites
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, strong oral and written communication skills, inquisitive, able to think logically, and be capable of complex analytical thinking, including spatial visualization and the ability to develop comprehensive conclusions often from sparse data. Those involved in fieldwork must have physical stamina.
Junior Geologist (JRG)

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct to identify sampling methods, field operations, interpretation and correlation of seams, and reporting

Exploration Superintendent (ExSpt)

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and program development plan with engineer, geologist and finance for exploration and exploitation activities
  • Monitor and control on every exploration and exploitation activities
  • Conduct project assessment to measure the need in exploration activities
  • Create a monthly report for exploration activities
  • Develop knowledge of new technologies that can improve the effectiveness and efficiency of operational activities
  • Conduct an assessment to measure the potential mine based on the information from the Exploration activities
  • Design a proper site plan model for every mining site/location which best applied according to its field situation
  • Conduct exploration programs and research to extend the knowledge of the structure, composition and processes of earth sciences generally, and to locate and identify mineral and coal resources
  • Planning and developing areas of exploration program by using aerial photographs, field maps, or data from geophysical and geochemical surveys and satellite images
Requirements:
  • Male
  • Bachelor degree in from reputable university in Geology / Mining Engineer. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
  • Exposure to Map Info, Map Source, AutoCAD, GPS, and Mining software like Surpac and Minscape would be an added advantage

  • Capability to create a mine plan design
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, team leader and motivator, strong oral and written communication skills, inquisitive, able to think logically, and be capable of complex analytical thinking, including spatial visualization and the ability to develop comprehensive conclusions often from sparse data. Those involved in fieldwork must have physical stamina.
